[BOIR] Weekly Newsletter #43

Businesswomen are definitely leading the charge!

Good Day Rochester!

Hey Happy Thursday! There’s something that I’ve been noticing. I’m noticing more and more businesswomen attending business meetings and meetups. This brings me so much joy. Historically, women have ALWAYS been enterprising people and it’s nice to see that is still true.

The biggest issue however from a funding point of view is that businesswomen are launching home-based businesses (not the scam) and these don’t qualify for funding from the city/county/state. Even BOIR is a home-based business. This doesn’t make it any less of a business. This makes it even more important to shop Black woman-owned since WE are mostly self-funded!

A lot is going on in Rochester so let’s get started!
